Marcela, Usui Reiki Master

I was born in Calexico, California, and raised in Montebello, suburb of Los Angeles, California, together with seven other siblings. I attended Catholic grade and High Schools, and attained California State Scholarship Federation Life Membership. I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California, and pursue continuing education and training on an ongoing basis. Though I have had training in CranioSacral Therapy, Raindrops Therapy and Dowsing, as well, I prefer at this time to focus on my abilities as a Reiki Master Teacher and the contributions I can make through that work, in my new home area of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and long distance, elsewhere.

Additionally, I received Shaktipat (an energy transmission given by a highly trained and advanced spiritual teacher or guru) and had my Kundalini awakened in 1978 by Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji Mahant Maharaj (1878 - 1994), who entered Maha Samadhi on August 29, 1994. The gift of shaktipat granted by Guruji was a powerful and life-transforming experience.

In 2005, I gratefully began studies and practices under Lama Khyimsar Rinpoche (Wang-Dhen Zhu-Yi Dhung-Sey – a precious prince of the powerful Zhu lineage of Tibet), a Lineage Lama of the original YungDrung Bon spiritual tradition of Tibet, who traces his lineage back 18,000 years. From Rinpoche, I received Long Life Energy Transmission (Loong), which has greatly enhanced my Reiki abilities, for the benefit of my clients, and in keeping with the tradition of YungDrung Bon, for the benefit of all sentient beings. I consider my work with Reiki in assisting the well-being of my clients to be a privilege and a gift for which I am deeply grateful.

In September of 2005, I was guided to move to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I established my new Reiki practice, and retain clients and friends from Los Angeles and elsewhere via long-distance Reiki work, in addition to my local Santa Fe clients and friends.
